  First time visiting Odeon Luxe, booked to watch Michael with my wife. On entering the cinema clean, tidy nice atmosphere. Easy booking confirmation system in place. food and drinks fairly priced. I had booked two Recliner Popular seats J10,J9 which cost £29.00, on getting to our seats found them dirty with popcorn littered on them, the swinging tables for snacks and drinks were absolutely disgusting, sticky ,stained and not been cleaned with any kind of disinfectant or wipes. the floor was wet on our seating isle so anyone could of slipped and had a terrible accident as the lighting was dimmed in the auditorium. Surely these auditoriums are inspected before the next showing is to begin? This experience has left me suggesting that the price i paid was not worth the visit and most importantly had ruined my cinema and movie experience.

  Have seen a few films here recently and it's now become our regular Cinema. Loads of screens and variety in films, they don't just show current films, we've just finished enjoying Jurassic Park 1 & 2 as well as E.T as part of their Spielberg season. Comfy reclining chairs and good variety of food and drink, as well as an in-house Costa if you fancy a good coffee. The only thing I would raise is that some of the screens seats have a lot of wear and tear and could do with a freshen up.

  I just watched Billie Eilish at 5.15pm and the staff from food balcony was EXTREMELY rude, honestly, I need to come back because I have a membership, I am here everyday, How can you hire these kids? They are absolutely NASTY, the black kid with braids was totally unprofessional when I asked if my 3D glasses were included, ITS NOT CLEAR ON YOUR WEBSITE, I come to the cinema to rest, I have worked all day and he ruined my experience, Will someone even acknowledge my complaint or am I just wasting my time here? He even gave me KIDS glasses to wear and he said “There is nothing you can say about it” honestly I didn’t want to make a scene because I was with my partner, but if you don’t come back to me on this, I swear I will become a member of Cineworld and will make sure you get bad reviews in all platforms across the internet, UNACCEPTABLE! Uneducated KIDS working! Fire these unprofessional TEENAGERS!

  I've seen 'Michael' 3 times now. This Odeon Dolby experience had the best sound, but the chairs are tired, the staff are rude and the audience was irritating. Who take a crying toddler to see a 12A film? Here's how the conversation went when I tried ordering a drink: "Can I get a shandy please?" "Is that wine?" "No, it's lager and lemonade." "If you want lemonade, you'll have to pay for it." "No, I want half lager, half lemonade: one drink" "If you want to buy a lager and a lemonade you can mix it yourself." It was honestly surreal. Then he started yelling at the queue behind us to move. He wanted everyone to order at the machine. Clearly, people prefer to be served by a human. Not use poop smeared screens. Not being able to order a Shandy, when they have Peroni and Lemonade on tap blew my mind.

  It is sad to see the cinema not being looked after well. AC not working, seats were dirty, could have easily been cleaned between movies. My wife and mother cleaned it before I reached the seat with the food so I couldn’t click a picture of it. Clicked a picture of the table though. Found the manager after the movie to inform her about the sad state. She kindly took the time to go and check, but silly enough.. we got told the seats are clean and she did apologise for the table. Errm, but I mentioned we cleaned the seats and watched the entire movie. Finally, in the end I get told, “it’s better to visit during the week we are less busy then”. I genuinely believe she must have had a long day and it’s not a her problem for me, but sad that she doesn’t have enough staff on a peak day to care for the people and screens. Hope someone looks into this and helps the staff with more people. For us, we have faced this the second time and shall not be returning to the cinema!
